What People Are Saying

Meet Lucas

I’ve been proud to call Grafton home for the past five years, and my wife’s family has deep roots here going back generations. This isn’t just where we live, it’s where we spend our time and stay connected to the community.

Whether it’s bringing my family to events like the Easter Egg Hunt on the Common, stopping by the town library, hiking local trails, spending time at Silver Lake, or supporting our local businesses, these are the experiences that make Grafton special. They’re also what drive my commitment to preserving the character of our town while planning responsibly for its future.

I’ve made it a priority to give back through multi-board public service. I advocate for those who served the country by serving on the Veterans Advisory Committee, the Trustees of Soldiers and Sailors Memorials, and help advocate for effective technology on the Information Technology Committee.

Professionally, I bring experience in logistics, budgeting, accountability, contract support, and operational planning through both my civilian career and military service. That experience has shaped a practical, grounded approach to problem-solving, focused on preparation, follow-through, and making decisions that serve the long-term good of the community.

I care deeply about Grafton and want to help ensure it remains a strong, welcoming town where people feel connected, supported, and confident in its future.

Why I'm Running

I’m running because I care deeply about Grafton and want to keep it a great place for everyone who calls it home. This is a community that people choose because of its character, its neighborhoods, and the quality of life it offers and I want to help protect what makes Grafton amazing.

Grafton deserves steady, practical leadership focused on making sound decisions, solving problems, and staying grounded in what matters most to residents not politics for its own sake.

My background has taught me that good leadership means listening, being prepared, and making decisions based on facts, accountability, and the long-term good of the community.

I’m committed to helping ensure Grafton continues to be a strong, welcoming town where families can thrive, residents feel heard, and thoughtful decisions guide our future.

Priorities

Fiscal Responsibility

Grafton needs thoughtful, responsible financial decisions that respect taxpayers while maintaining the services our community depends on.

Strong Community

Town government should stay focused on the people it serves. I want to help make sure residents feel heard, respected, and represented.

Smart growth should be thoughtful and responsible. It should strengthen our tax base while respecting neighborhoods and preserving Grafton’s character.
